Site information
How this site works, what little personal data it handles, and the terms under which it is offered. Plain language, aligned with UK data protection law.
01
This website (hilliardcoaching.com) is published and operated by Richard Hilliard, trading as Hilliard Coaching, an executive and self-awareness coaching practice based in London, United Kingdom.
You can reach me by email at richard@hilliardcoaching.com or by telephone on +44 7903 941076. A postal correspondence address is available on request.
This is an information site. It does not sell products, take payments, or create user accounts. Coaching is arranged privately, by conversation.
02
Hilliard Coaching collects as little personal data as possible. This notice explains what is collected, why, and the rights you have under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. The data controller is Richard Hilliard (Hilliard Coaching), contactable at richard@hilliardcoaching.com.
Your data is never sold or used for advertising. It may be handled by trusted providers acting on my instructions, namely my email provider and the website host. Coaching conversations are treated as strictly confidential and are not shared, except where I am required to by law or where there is a serious risk to someone's safety.
Enquiry correspondence is kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards. Client records are kept for as long as professional, insurance and tax obligations require, then securely deleted.
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, appropriate safeguards such as UK-approved transfer mechanisms are relied upon.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access a copy of your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw any consent you have given. To exercise these, email richard@hilliardcoaching.com. If you are unhappy with how your data has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
The content of this site is general information about coaching. It is not professional, medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and coaching is not a substitute for therapy, counselling or medical care. Nothing on the site creates a coaching relationship; that begins only under a separate written agreement.
The text, images, design and other material on this site belong to Richard Hilliard and Hilliard Coaching unless stated otherwise, and may not be copied or reused without permission. You are welcome to link to the site.
Please use the site lawfully, and do not attempt to disrupt it, misuse it, or gain unauthorised access to it or its host.
The site links to third-party sites such as LinkedIn. I am not responsible for the content or the privacy practices of sites I do not control.
The site is provided as it is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law of England and Wales, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version always appears on this page.

This site does not set cookies, and it does not use analytics, advertising or behavioural tracking of any kind. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
To deliver the site and keep it secure, the website host may briefly process standard technical information such as IP addresses in server and security logs. This is ordinary infrastructure logging. It is not used to identify, profile or track you, and it is not combined with any other data.
If you follow a link to an external site such as LinkedIn, that site may set its own cookies under its own policy, which is outside my control.

Coaching with Hilliard Coaching is human work, delivered personally by Richard Hilliard. Artificial intelligence is not used to make decisions about you, to assess you, or to stand in for the coaching itself.
Your personal information and the content of coaching conversations are kept confidential and are not entered into public or third-party AI tools.
Where AI assistance is used at all, it is limited to behind-the-scenes help with general tasks such as drafting or refining website copy, always under human review and never involving your personal data.
This reflects a deliberately cautious and transparent approach to AI. If it changes, this notice will be updated to say so.
